Basic Bitch
Our recipe this week was the famed Basic Bitch Pumpkin Muffins. I make them every year as sort of a signal to myself that Fall has arrived. Below is the 2021 edition of their mind map - everything in the top and right hand sections are the ultimate basic, betchy wardrobe starts to the season. On the bottom are the true basics I swear by in the kitchen. On the left is my daily skincare routine - because only a BB talks about her skincare routine, right?

Only a Basic B talks about her skincare routine. Here’s mine: wash with this face wash, exfoliate, then alternatively moisturize with this or this (every other day) (yep the “high/low” happening here). This is my neck cream and eye cream (not pictured). I use eight hour cream on my lips, Super Goop on my face and Jo Malone on my bod before I leave for the day. This JM scent is catching up quickly as a new favorite.
